Taking the Pressure Off

Professors Carmen DiGiovine, associate clinical professor of health and rehabilitation sciences and biomedical engineering with the Wexner Medical Center and Sandra Metzler, associate clinical professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, are the driving force behind Sit Smart, a wireless pad that monitors pressure points for individuals with pressure ulcers.  Students from Metzler’s capstone course, focused on solving design problems with assistive devices, are working on the Sit Smart project.  To read the full story click here
