Biography

Dr. Vaibhav Sinha is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University. He received his Ph.D. from the Missouri University of Science & Technology (Formerly known as University of Missouri, Rolla). Dr. Sinha has several years of professional experience in radiation detection, imaging measurements and associated instrumentation. Prior to joining OSU, he has contributed to different research projects involving development of calibration phantoms for whole/mobile body counters, medical radioisotope production by a linear particle accelerator, development of a fast neutron generator, neutron, x-ray and gamma shielding for design of imaging/irradiation facilities at Germany, Idaho, Missouri and Virginia.
