The first edition book covers all aspects of skin cream and its effect on the human skin, including an overview of the structural, nanotribological and nanomechanical properties of skin with and without skin treatment as a function of operating environment.  The book discusses the biophysics of skin as a complex biological structure.

This is the first published book on nanotribological and nanomechanical properties of skin and skin treatment.  “The book is written for a novice in the field,” Bhushan noted.  “It should serve as a reference book for researchers, practitioners and users.
