MAE Welcomes New Staff

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) welcomed three new staff members in the beginning of fall semester.

Laboratory Supervisor Chris Adams is responsible for supporting academic laboratory and project courses at MAE.  He previously worked in The Ohio State University’s Office of Academic Affairs and in the Department of Physics.  Prior to that, he worked for General Motors and Liebert Corporation.  Adams earned a BS degree in mechanical engineering and an MS degree in industrial engineering from Ohio State.

Ann Sanders joins the department as associate HR/fiscal officer, responsible for systems approval, staff payroll and HR.  Sanders has worked at Ohio State since 2006.  She earned a BS degree from Fisher College of Business and a MS degree from John Glenn School of Public Affairs. 

Megan Znidarsic, fiscal associate, is responsible for fiscal, travel and reimbursements at MAE.  She is a 2008 graduate of Ohio State and most recently worked for Ohio State’s Office of Student Life in the student activities department.

Scott Laboratory, MAE offers bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering and aeronautical and astronautical engineering and master’s and doctoral degrees in mechanical, nuclear and aeronautical and astronautical engineering. The mission of the department is the education of professionals in mechanical, aerospace and nuclear engineering, the generation and dissemination of knowledge and technology and the development of innovative solutions to problems in these fields.
