Congratulations to Christopher Cundy for pulling off a hat trick! Chris expects to graduate in June 2002 with honors, has been awarded a three-year National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, and has won an Ohio State University Fellowship for graduate study. Chris was selected for the NDSEG Fellowship from over 2,000 applicants. In addition to graduate tuition fees, this award will provide Chris a first year stipend of $23,000 and will increase every year. More details about the Fellowship are available at http://www.asee.org/ndseg/ where he is also featured among the winners. As a testament to his academic excellence, Chris has also been awarded a University Fellowship by the Ohio State Graduate School.

We are very happy that Chris will be pursuing his graduate studies in our department and will work with Professor Raj Singh in the area of automotive drive train vibrations. Chris is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and plays guitar for a band named "Intake" which performs around the OSU campus area.
