ME Honors Student Wins ASME Gracik Scholarship

Congratulations to Ryan A. Bockbrader, a junior in the OSU Mechanical Engineering Honors Program, for winning the 2002 ASME John and Elsa Gracik Scholarship! Ryan was selected for this award based on his exceptional academic record in our program (GPA 3.94), as well as demonstrated leadership in student professional organizations.

Ryan serves as Vice President of Ohio State Engineer's Council and is very active in the student chapter of ASME. Among his many accomplishments, Ryan is a Mortar Board National Senior Honoree (2002-2003), Selections and Inductions Chair - Texnikoi Engineering Leadership Honoree (2001-Present), and member of Tau Beta Pi this year. Ryan has also served the Freshman Engineering Honors Program for the past two years as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. Ryan has made the Dean's List throughout his undergraduate program at Ohio State and is the recipient of numerous merit scholarships.
