Kimmet Receives Lamme Medal

In recognition of his noteworthy contributions and entrepreneurship since graduation, ME alumnus Daniel Kimmet was awarded the prestigious Benjamin G. Lammé medal on October 19, 2001. As Operating Vice President of Eaton Corporation's Mobile Fluid Power Operations, Dan manages Eaton's engineering, manufacturing, administration, sales and marketing activities, including operations in Asia. Prior to joining Eaton, Dan served for 25 years in Aeroquip where he was recognized for numerous engineering innovations. Dan has maintained his close ties to OSU by serving on ME's Industrial Advisory Board and is a committee member supporting our new building. Dan received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the OSU College of Engineering in 1991.
