Jennifer Miller wins WISE Internship

Congratulations to Jennifer Miller, third year undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering, for winning a WISE Internship for Summer 2002! Under the auspices of the prestigious Washington Internships for Students of Engineering (WISE), Jennifer will spend ten weeks in the Nuclear Energy Institute Office in our nation's capital, where she will learn about governmental decision-making in technology and the contributions that engineers make to public policy. The internship carries a stipend of $1,800, covers travel expenses, and includes lodging at George Washington University. Jennifer is a member of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) that will mentor her sojourn in Washington this summer. More details about the WISE internships are available at http://wise-intern.org/

Jennifer is also the recipient of a National Merit Scholarship, as well as a Women in Engineering scholarship from Lockheed Martin. She is a member of the Ohio State Women's Soccer Team.
