Faculty Experts: Meyer Benzakein on the Airline Industry

Dr. M. J. Benzakein is the Wright Brothers Institute Professor and Chair of the Aerospace Engineering Department, a position he assumed in January 2005. Prior to coming to Ohio State, Dr. Benzakein spent 37 years at GE Aircraft Engines where he advanced through various engineering positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to his retirement from GE, Dr. Benzakein was responsible for all new military and commercial engine programs as well as all technology development.
