Strengths of Department Touted at APS Conference

As part of its participation at the 2014 American Physical Society conference, the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering has prepared a video that speaks to the department's mission, which is to educate the future leaders in mechanical, aerospace, and nuclear engineering; to generate and disseminate original knowledge and technology; and to develop innovative solutions to societal challenges. The department conducts a range of research over a broad spectrum of applications including, Advanced Automotive and Aerospace Systems, Energy and the Environment, Micro- and Nanotechnology, Bioengineering, Materials and Manufacturing, and Nuclear Science and Engineering. The programs also prepare their graduates for success - in anything they want to pursue from an academic career to industry.
