Cao Appointed Associate Editor for Top Journal in Nuclear Science and Technology

Prof. Lei R. Cao was recently appointed as an associate editor for The IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science. The journal covers the theory and application of nuclear science and engineering and has consistently been one of the top journals in the category of Nuclear Science & Technology. Prof. Cao will also serve as the associated editor for Internal Journal of Nuclear Safety and Simulation, a journal that covers latest development on nuclear safety and the related simulation technology to contribute on peaceful uses of nuclear energy in the 21st century.  Dr. Cao, who graduated from University of Texas at Austin, has been an Assistant Professor in the Nuclear Engineering Program at Ohio State since January 2010. He previously served two terms of post-doctoral training on nuclear instrumentation and detector development at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Positron Emission Tomography Laboratory at Harvard Medical School. At Ohio State, Cao has founded the Nuclear Analysis and Radiation Sensor (NARS) Laboratory with multiple external research grants for which he is the leading PI.
