Security Enhancements On Tap for Ohio State's Nuclear Reactor Lab

Posted:
As a part of the Global Threat Reduction Project, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory has issued an award entitled, "Voluntary Security Enhancements for The Ohio State University – Nuclear Reactor Lab" for construction/security enhancements in the total amount of $840,586 and for associated warranty/maintenance in the total amount of $21,560.

The award is voluntary in that it will improve the security of the The Ohio State University – Nuclear Reactor Lab beyond its present status, which is currently deemed sufficient. Among the many upgrades included in the project will be an addition to the Nuclear Reactor Lab that will include a foyer, reception area and restrooms.  This addition will allow the Nuclear Reactor Lab to admit guests in a more orderly and secure manner.
