Singh Tapped to Receive Purdue's 2013 Outstanding Mechanical Engineer Award

Professor Rajendra Singh will be recognized by his alma mater, the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, as an alumnus who has  demonstrated excellence in the field of academia. Each year the school selects honorees who have shown outstanding character and leadership and have significantly contributed to the practice of mechanical engineering. Since 1991, 229 alumni have been awarded Purdue's Outstanding Mechanical Engineer Award. This year's award presentation will take place on November 1, the eve of the Purdue-Ohio State football game, in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Earlier this year, Professor Singh was named the Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Educator by the American Society of Engineering Educators. Purdue's complete list of 2013 Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Award recipients will be announced later this year.
