Army Research Office Awards Conlisk and Yoda Funding for Study of Complex Fluid Mixtures

The Army Research Office has awarded Ohio State Professor Terrence Conlisk Jr., Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, along with Georgia Tech Professor Minami Yoda, a $429,000 grant for a research project titled "Transport of Multivalent Mixtures in Micro- and Nanochannels.'' The objective of the research is to learn how to control complex fluid mixtures like contaminated water or saliva for separating out desired components.
