Open GRA positions in Integrated Material Systems Lab

Two GRA positions are available in Prof. Sundaresan’s group for students seeking a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering starting in January 2019. The two positions are in

  • advanced automotive energy storage systems
  • electronic devices and circuits for programmable structures
  • active metamaterials

Both positions require excellent background in material science, physical sciences (chemistry and physics), control theory (undergraduate level) and measurement systems. It is also expected that students are well-versed in MATLAB programming, design of experimental platforms, run experiments, collect and analyze data and present this data to research sponsors.

Other expected qualifications for these positions include excellent academic background in undergraduate or graduate degree, ability to write journal papers and excellent presentation skills. Please contact Prof. Sundaresan (sundaresan.19@osu.edu) if you are eligible and interested.
