GearLab consortium members have been steadly increased in the last few years.  We meet twice a year with the consortium members in Columbus, Ohio.  Currently we have over 70 active companies supporting the consortium.

Consortium Membership Benefits:

  • Access to research findings with good leverage of investment
  • Licenses to state-of-the-art computer software for gear design and analysis
  • Access to experimental databases of GearLab
  • Access to past GearLab research in the form of papers, reports and theses
  • Seminars and colloquia
  • Opportunities to recruit GearLab graduates for hiring needs
  • Opportunities to interact with engineers from other companies at GearLab meetings

Consortium Membership Requirements:

  • Member companies must agree to the terms of the GearLab Membership Agreement
  • Consortium Fee:
    • $18,500 per year for companies with more than 50 employees.  One time initiation fee of $5,000 for new member
    • $6,400 per year for companies with less than 50 employees.  One time initiation fee of $2,500 for new member
