Abstract: There are no shortage of problems to motivate designers to think of creative solutions, but what is the appropriate balance of analysis of the problem beforehand verses sketching ideas for solutions? This seminar will explore this question using several case studies from the renewable energy realms of wind, solar, and hydro power systems.
