Direct Energy Conversion (5510H)

Description

  • Introduction to principles and operation of devices that convert thermal, chemical, and electromagnetic energy directly into electricity. Lectures are complemented by hands-on laboratory experience. Prereq: Honors standing, and Physics 1241 or 1251 (133) or equiv. Prereq or concur: 4510 (510), or Grad standing, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 610H. Units: 4 credit hours.
