Junmin Wang Receives Third Associate Editor Appointment

Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Junmin Wang has been appointed an Associate Editor for the ASME Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement and Control.  

In addition to the new ASME assignment, Wang serves as an Associate Editor for SAE's International Journal of Engines and for IEEE's Transactions on Vehicular Technology. Last year, Wang received a prestigious National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program award and a SAE Ralph R. Teetor Educational Award. He also received the prestigious Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award and ORAU Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award through national competitions in 2009.

Wang is the director of the Vehicle Systems and Control Laboratory whose major research focus on control, modeling, estimation, and diagnosis of dynamical systems, particularly for vehicle, engine, powertrain, aftertreatment, hybrid, flexible fuel, alternative / renewable energy, transportation, and mechatronic systems.
