About the ProgramThe Mechanical Engineering (ME) Program at Ohio State offers BS, MS, and PhD degrees. The program is designed to prepare students for successful careers in a variety of specialty areas associated with the application of:
Ohio State now confers the fourth greatest number
of undergraduate degrees in mechanical engineering of any
university in the United States. Along with a foundation
in the applications of mechanical engineering, we
continue to broaden our students' exposure to simulation
techniques, computational skills and business and
professional skills. Students admitted to the program are
