Ralph Rockow, Class of 1958

Ohio State Alumnus Ralph Rockow, ME '58, has now added his story to the university's "But for Ohio State" campaign. Rockow, a generous supporter of Ohio State and The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, says he learned many things at Ohio State that have served him well in life. He uses the concept of finite elements as a metaphor for how to solve some of life's bigger problems. Rockow is President and Chairman of the Board of Exodyne, Inc., located in Phoenix, Arizona. Phil Combs, Class of 1971

Ohio State Alumnus Phil Combs, AAE ’71, and his wife Ginny add their "But for Ohio State" story to the conversation about the importance of the university in the lives of its alumni. Today, Combs' interest in Aerospace Engineering continues as he serves The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering as a member its Aerospace Engineering External Advisory Board.
